SANTA ROSA NATIONAL PARK

This is our first National Park and is located reserve with 49,515 hectares. Santa Rosa is famous for its 10 different habitats including manglar, sabana and a oaks forest, home of more than 250 species of birds and 115 species of mammals. With our naturalistic guide, visitors learn about the meaning of these ecosystems as well as about La Casona, historical monument of Costa Rica. This old "hacienda" is now a Museum.

On the way back to San José, you will enjoy a visit to Liberia to learn more about the history of Guanacaste.
