CAÑO NEGRO WILDLIFE REFUGEE
This is a humid zone with such a great biodiversity in the entire Costa Rica. Here there are three different monkey species, iguanas, caiman and also turtles. Tour starts at 7: 30 am. when we pick up those “Nature Lovers ” and take a 1½ hours trip to Los Chiles, a tiny little town located 4 km. from Nicaraguan border, where visitors take the boat for a 4 hr. trip to the Rain Forest.

MALEKUS NAVITE RESERVE 
A member of the Maleku community will lead you thru the rain forest and visitors will have the chance to learn about medicinal plants, nature concept from Maleku perspective and also visit their Cementery. This walk is also narrated on maleku (maleku jaica) and traslated into spanish language. Most of the Malekus speaks Spanish, but even that, since school they receive lessons about their culture and learn how to speak maleku jaica.
